How can we Implement YouTube into our Classroom?

YouTube is a great classroom resource and now that our classrooms have gone virtual it’s being used now more than before. YouTube is used for all sorts of things like music, documentaries, bloggers, gaming, educational resources, and educational strategies. This platform is great for teaching and learning. Many organizations have YouTube channels filled with resources pertaining to their organization and more. For example, there are many videos to help students study for their PRAXIS exams, subject to certain content areas.

The best part about YouTube is they have videos for everything and to find them, all you have to do is type in some key words. For example, if you have limited time in class and need a crash course about matter, simply type into the YouTube search bar “crash course for kids about matter”. Multiple videos will pop up and you can pick the best one for your classroom. Some Museums and popular Channels like PBS and the Discovery Channel have created virtual reality tours or video tours to bring students into those facilities or towns.
