My Philosophy of Education

I believe each student has an undeniable right to an equitable, and quality education no matter where they come from or who they are. Every student is unique and learns different from one another. Each student should have an opportunity to come to school every day and feel safe, loved, respected, and cared for by their teachers and their peers. It's important that as educators, we maintain our student's confidentiality and foster their unique learning styles and abilities. Our students should be looked at with an asset based approach. Each student brings their own diverse experiences to the classroom and it is up to us as teachers to help them recognize this and build off of this. We are here to build students up and to help them build character.
