Google Suite to Google Workplace

Do you remember the good ol' days when you had to remember which computer you used to create certain documents? Or that same computer is the only computer that had your work saved on it? Well, those days are long gone with the new Google Workplace (formerly known as Google Suite or G Suite).

Google Workplace is a fairly recent platform that is mostly free and accessible from just about anywhere. Yup, I said it... FREE! You can have access to any document you create within Google Workplace at your fingertips. This Workplace is great for any profession. Need to create lesson plans? Google Slides. Need to create a new menu for your restaurant? Google Docs. Need to create a spreadsheet for inventory? Oh, let me guess.. GOOGLE SHEETS!!

But wait... it gets better... The best part about Google Workplace is that you can share documents and work on it at the same time as others even if you aren't in the same space!

This resource is easily accessible and very user friendly. I started using it as a sophomore in High School when my school decided to explore this option. They still use the same program six years later and have implemented it into every classroom from the Elementary Level to the High School Level. They even use it to share documents with parents and in the sports department too. When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, the school already had a somewhat organized system in place and students already knew to log into Google Classroom to access their daily assignments. It is a great resource that doesn't get the credit it deserves. I have included a link below that talks about 9 features you didn't know Google Workplace has... Thanks for reading.
